We are able to haul up to 150 tonnes into our covered shed so build work on your fishing boat can continue regardless of the weather here in Cornwall.

Where the work shed is not required, we have our own 150 ft quay where work can be carried out all year round keeping your fishing boat build or refit on schedule.

Custom GRP Fishing Boat Building

We are extremely proud of the custom fishing boat construction and refit work we carry out at Padstow Boatyard here in Cornwall. We manufacture commercial fishing boats for fishermen based both in the UK and overseas. Here are a few images of a previous boat build project carried out for a UK based commercial fishing company. This was a 14.95m ring-netting boat designed by Pelagic Design in Falmouth. As you can see, this was an extensive boat construction project all the way through to sail-away stage incorporating a GRP moulded hull, bulkheads and deck build as well as external fit out. The Pelagic Marksman can now be found fishing Cornish sardines out of Newlyn. As well as building GRP fishing boats, we also have the facilities to refit and repair steel commercial fishing vessels.
